Actcess is proud to anounce that The Guest has won two awards at the Remark Film and Television Awards in London, Marilyn Bueno Del Carpio walked away with the Best Actress Award for her portrayal of Valerie Clarke and Brian Duffy was awarded Best Actor for his role of Georgie

Actcess director Pierce Starre said ‘This is why Actcess produces these films, to give people the opportunity to showcase their talent, I am incredibly pleased that it has enabled them to win awards too’.

Actcess is delighted to announce that The Guest has won ‘two’ out of ’six’ awards at the Visuell Film Gala in Sweden including ‘Best International Film’ and ‘Best Supporting Actor’ – Brian Duffy.

We asked Brian Duffy how he felt being crowned Best Actor in a Supporting role

‘My face came on the screen to announce that I had won! I felt a buzz that I have not felt in a long long time, It felt so nice to be acknowledged and appreciated for my work… it was a shock but it was a nice shock’

The Guest tells the story of a Bed and Breakfast owner Valerie Clarke, The larger than life character makes her first booking for over Twenty Years and is about to be awoken from her incredibly depressing life but all hell is about to break loose because Valerie is no longer the young twenty something that was pretty and slim but instead a withered old hag, that has devoted her life to Georgie her troubled son. She sets out to entice her guest and invites him to her ‘party’,

But will it turn out the way she has planned it? Or is she in for a surprise?
